A Violation of The Endangered Species Act?

When government agencies or other organizations stall, refuse, or otherwise delay proven science driven habitat restoration designed to save our wild native, threatened and endangered steelhead and salmon populations in our streams, is this a violation of the Endangered Species Act?

Example—-over the last 5 years, scientists presented habitat restoration plans for the lower East Fork, Lewis River in Southwest Washington’s Clark County to agencies that are mandated to save threatened and endangered salmon and steelhead.

To date, unfortunately, the four listed species and East Fork fish habitat do not appear to be receiving the attention and priority they should, jeopardizing the recovery of ESA listed salmon & steelhead.
